Advisory: The Sophos Endpoint Security and Control update due to commence release on 27 October 2010 will require a reboot

We are incorporating a driver update and an LSP (Layered Service Protocol) update into the version 9.5.4 Endpoint Security and Control update due for release in late October/early November 2010.

For these updates to take effect you will need to reboot endpoint computers. In this release, we have suppressed endpoint reboot requests by default, so that requests will only be sent to Enterprise Console.

Existing protection will not be compromised in the interim before the required reboot is completed.
